Church outing to Tarrant Kenyston PDF Print E-mail

For another year we were able to enjoy a sunny day in what has been a very wet summer so far.  One thing that did change this year was the location - though not everybody was able to break the habit of getting into their car that must've driven itself to Harman's Cross to find an empty village hall (no prizes for finding out who it was).

We were blessed with fair weather and the surroundings of Tarrant Kenyston to be able to enjoy a day that was full but equally was leisurely in fellowship together.

We got to enjoy the bouncy castle (yes all ages were on there), the ball pool (still haven't found out who started the game of 'let's see how far away we can get the balls'), BBQ, cream tea (yum!), football (and there were actually complaints about it being too hot and something about a Red Man....), watching the Sunday School leader hard at work (picture 22-23), the park, mothers and fathers race (not that they looked too competitive!! pics 44-50), a talk by Marcus (well done) on the imortance of thinking about the Kingdom.

Image A full day - thanks to our Heavenly Father for blessing us with such a wonderful family at Winton Ecclesia (and beyond), thanks to the children for bringing their fun and energy, to Adam for leading, to Lucy for all the organisation and to everybody else that helped eat the food, bring things, set things up and pack away.

Some pictures from the day can be seen at (both links contain exactly the same pictures - just not sure which 'setup' will work best for most people):
